Software Engineering Lead - Python
- Take ownership for an established squad of fullstack Software Engineers
- Mix of hands on development and people leadership
- Python and Django skills are mandatory. Full stack role working on B/E and F/E
Join this high growth software product vendor as an Engineering Lead. In this role you will take ownership for a core product's development and will lead a squad of 4-6 engineers across full stack development. The role will be a mixture of hands on coding and people leadership. The core skills required are Python and Django with proven experience in scaling SaaS products. Ideally you will also have solid front end skills too as you will have to manage PR's across the entire SDLC.
To make sparks fly you will have:
- Proven experience in software engineering leader. You need to be able demonstrate leadership of teams between 5-10 people
- Strong backend development skills with commercial experience in Python and Django
- Solid experience in front end development, ideally with experience in React
- Experience working in a scale up / product focused environment.
- Experience in uplifting engineering practices and capabilities through technical mentorship
