QA Automation Engineer

- Take ownership for the Automation strategy and toolset
- Work closely with the software engineers to own the QA function
In this newly created role you will take ownership of the automation testing on all layers of this rapidly growing Fintech's web applications. You will heavily focus on testing API's - writing API test in code and creating test framework. You will also be involved in developing end to end UI test automation frameworks. The role will also include some manual testing.
To make sparks fly you will have:
- At least have 3-5 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer with strong programming skills in .Net, C#, or JavaScript
- Recent and solid experience with writing automated tests at the API level using tools like REST Assured, Postman, and Selenium
- Ability to analyse requirements, identify edge cases, and suggests other ways of testing in an Agile environment
- Must have experience in implementing test automation and test strategies in a greenfield environment
