A Backend Java Developer is needed for a leading Financial Technology company based in the Sydney CBD. This organization works with cutting-edge technology and innovative products. Due to exponential growth, the company requires a Backend Java Developer to join the team to create and develop solutions using Java based components and interfaces. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that offers exciting technical challenges to overcome.
To make sparks fly you will have:
- Back-end Java development experience (not web based only) e.g. dealing with large data set, data manipulation / sorting / merging, complex algorithms
- Strong knowledge of low level Java coding
- Solid expereince of working with large complex datasets
- Financial Services experience and understanding of the trading market
- Great communication skills & attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with Linux scripting
