API Support Engineer

Newly created role for an experienced Java based Application Support specialist who is keen to focus on API integration and support. In this role you will join an established team focused on delivering a complex API platform globally. You will support a diverse range of customers and will be a key point of contact in regard to an API performance or integration issues.

To make sparks fly you will have:

  • Familiarity with API interrogation tools like Postman and SoapUI (desirable)
  • Experience in the testing of APIs and the environments as required
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting on end-to-end API health, performance and statistics
  • Ability to troubleshoot API and integration issues and work with external customers to resolve them
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex incidents in conjuntion with the S/W engineering team
